Daybreak Flood

This is what our street looked like last night after about a 10 minute thunderstorm. We are lucky that our house sits up higher than most. The people with Kennecott said it was coming from the Oquirrh Mountains but we don't really know. Kennecott had a couple tractors further backing trying to build a dam to stop the water from coming. Never seen anything quite like it before.

Wow -- that's a lot of water for 10 minutes of rain! Flood damage is the worst, I am really glad you are up on that bank.

By the way, your house is gorgeous. You (and your mom) sure have decorated it well. We enjoyed our visit, hopefully Tyler can come next time!

I am so glad that your house was safe. Did the ditch outside your front door fill up? We have several homes with damage from our last rainstorm. What a mess!

It looks like New Orleans, except it doesn't smell like urine and there are no dead bodies floating in the water.
